Ceramic Zone :Balai Seni Negara

 

Balai Seni Negara presents a collection of ceramic works from the National Visual Art Collection combined with extraordinary works by specially invited ceramic artists in the exhibition “Land Origin,” running to April 30, 2026.

This exhibition is part of the “Spatial Creative – Ceramic Zone” program, a short-term ceramic residency program organized by the National Art Gallery in collaboration with BK Art Studio, Kuala Kangsar; Ilham Ceramic Studio, Langkawi; and Sari Chempaka Art Village, Karak Pahang. Also on display are works from the “After Monsoon Project 03: ‘Tera-Kota’ Land-Body-Site” program, located on the beach of Kundur Island, Kelantan, from October 24 to 30, 2025.

The “Land Origin” exhibition also benefits from the cooperation of the Perak Ceramic Art Association (PESERA). Join us for an extraordinary ceramics exhibition encompassing sculptural, architectural, traditional, and figurative forms, as well as creative experiments and cultural expressions. The “Spatial Creative – Ceramic Zone – Short-Term Ceramic Residency Program” exhibition is now officially open.

You have the opportunity to view the short-term ceramic residency works of ten (10) visual artists from diverse backgrounds and ages, on display at the National Art Gallery to April 30, 2026. This program is made possible through the cooperation of BK Art Studio, Kuala Kangsar; Ilham Ceramic Studio, Langkawi; and Sari Chempaka Art Village, Karak Pahang. Balai Seni Negara is pleased to invite you all to this “Spatial Creative Ceramic Zone” exhibition.
