8th Indian Ocean Conference 2025 in Oman
The Sultanate of Oman is preparing to host the 8th Indian Ocean Conference on February 16, 2025. This two-day gathering will focus on the theme “Voyage to New Horizons of Maritime Partnership.”
Launched by India Foundation in 2016 in Singapore, the Indian Ocean Conference has expanded to include participation from 30 countries over the past eight years. It has become the leading consultative forum for tackling regional issues among nations in the area.
The Conference aims to unite key states and important maritime partners on a common platform to explore opportunities for regional cooperation under the Security and Growth for All in the Region (SAGAR) initiative.
