Australia : Toyota Country Music Festival
One of the biggest thrills of the Tamworth Country Music Festival is experiencing a free show at Toyota Park – the largest and loudest venue. Every night, throughout the 10-day festival, fans are invited to pitch a camp chair or roll out a picnic rug and buckle in for hours of entertainment. One of the most unique aspects of the Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival, is the ability to watch ticketed and free live shows every day.
This January, there will be a massive line up of free themed shows at Toyota Park with old favourites and plenty of new elements set to excite newcomers and returning fans.
Festival Manager Barry Harley says the shows are designed to give visitors and locals a taste of all sub-genres and styles of country music, while providing established and emerging artists a platform to share their music with thousands of spectators.
“Toyota Park is a very special part of the festival and the concerts are a perfect way for families of all ages to experience new and emerging talent as well as some of their favourite artists.” Barry says.
The festival will officially kick off on Friday 17 January, with the highly anticipated Opening Concert in Toyota Park. Compered by Max Jackson, the concert will feature a range of 2024 Golden Guitar Winners, including Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Duncan Toombs, Sara Storer and Wicker Suite. 2024 Toyota Star Maker Wade Forster is also amongst the line-up, along with Toyota Busking Champions Robbi & Ben, Golden Gig, sponsored by Macca’s Winner Maia Fletcher, Australian Idol finalist and Golden Guitar Nominee Denvah and CMAA Senior Academy Students.
