INSV Tarini Sets Sail Across the Indian Ocean on Final Leg of Navika Sagar Parikrama II

The Indian naval vessel INSV Tarini has embarked on the final leg of its Navika Sagar Parikrama II expedition, sailing across the Indian Ocean from Cape Town to Goa.

Crewed by two Indian women officers, this leg of the journey continues to promote maritime diplomacy, ocean sailing, and women empowerment.

The stop in Cape Town featured diplomatic engagements, cultural exchanges, and outreach activities before the vessel resumed its voyage.

The expedition showcases India’s indigenous shipbuilding strength and aims to reach Goa by the end of May 2025.
