Sauti za Busara 2026 festival in Zanzibar :Salif Keita headline
From February 5–8, 2026, Stone Town, Zanzibar will host the 23rd Sauti za Busara music festival. Busara Promotions will continue its history of 100% live concerts by bringing together a diverse group of performers from Africa and the diaspora for this yearly event.
Since its founding in 2003, Sauti za Busara has grown to become one of the most important cultural gatherings in East Africa, honoring the music of the region and promoting cross-cultural communication. Malian legend Salif Keita, dubbed the “Golden Voice of Africa,” will make her debut in the 2026 edition.
His event will highlight his distinct style, which combines modern sounds with traditional Mandinka rhythms. Salif Keita’s dedication to helping those with albinism is also acknowledged, which aligns with the festival’s social impact goals.
