A sailing container ship will connect Marseille to Madagascar

Nothing to do with the behemoths of maritime transport, the boat is an 85 m long sailboat that can transport around a hundred containers, or around 1,400 tonnes. The first journey is planned for 2025. With its 2,340 m2 sail, the sailboat is supposed to connect Marseille to Madagascar in 35 days at an average speed of 8 knots (15 km/h). Compared to a traditional cargo ship, the ship saves up to 90% in fossil energy on a transatlantic line.
