Empowering Oman’s Next Generation Through Culture and Creativity

The National Museum of Oman, with the support of BP Oman, has launched its annual ‘Heritage and Legacy’ summer programme – a dynamic initiative designed to connect students with their national identity and cultural heritage through interactive art workshops.

The programme is currently underway at the National Museum in Muscat (July 6–10), engaging children aged 6 to 11 in hands-on, creative activities inspired by Oman’s artistic traditions.

Two additional sessions will follow at the Learning Centre in Al Mouj Muscat:

• Ages 12–16: July 13–17
• University students: July 20–24

This initiative reflects the National Museum’s commitment to making cultural education accessible and inspiring for Oman’s youth – fostering pride and appreciation for the Sultanate’s rich legacy.
