Kapotar Island is one of the most beautiful islands in Papua. It is a small island in Mambor Village, Kepulauan Moora District, Nabire Regency, Papua. The island can reached from Samabusa Port in about 30 minutes by speed boat. Almost the entire Kapotar Island is covered with coconut trees. Kapotar Island coconuts are known to be thick, harder, and not too juicy. The young coconuts also have a unique taste, perhaps because they grow on a small island in the middle of the sea and are supported by fertile soil so the taste is different.
