Kenya showcases its cultural gastronomy
With a rich food heritage, Kenya wants to leave its mark on the gastronomic map. With a coastline overlooking the Indian Ocean, mountainous highlands and vast deserts, Kenya’s landscapes are rich and diverse. The East African country is also a cultural goldmine, with more than 40 ethnic groups living within its borders. This cultural diversity means that the country has many traditional cuisines, and the Kenya Tourism Board wants to boost tourism by promoting gastronomic experiences to travellers.
