Malaysia’s new Edu+ initiative aims to spur growth in edutourism

 

 

Malaysia’s Edu+ programme aims to boost edutourism by offering short-term educational courses to international students, promoting cultural exchange and global learning. Tourism Malaysia, under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, has officially launched the much-anticipated Edu+ programme, aimed at boosting the edutourism sector in Malaysia.

This initiative targets students, with tourist visas, to participate in short-term training courses while enjoying their holidays in Malaysia. In partnership with the National Association of Private Educational Institutions (NAPEI), an experienced organisation with over 36 years of expertise, Edu+ exemplifies the strong collaboration between the tourism and education sectors to deliver distinctive learning experiences.
