Reunion island : Unmissable hike,the three Salazes
The Trois Salazes ridge stretches between the Islet à Corde and the Arête des Salazes. This hike offers a panoramic view of the impressive cirques of Cilaos and Mafate. The major attraction is the presence of three rocky peaks, resembling sharp teeth, which sit majestically on the ridge. They are so distinctive that they are nicknamed “Mrs. Desbassyns’ teeth” by the residents of Cilaos. This hike is therefore unique not only for its breathtaking view, but also for these three iconic rock peaks.
