Sharjah International Book Fair 2024: A Global Celebration of Literature and Culture
From November 6 to November 17, 2024, the Sharjah International Book Fair, recognized as one of the largest book fairs globally, was held at the Sharjah Expo Centre. The event featured over 400 literary activities, including daily writing workshops, poetry readings, and book signings. Exhibitor booths prominently showcased local favorites, emphasizing a diverse selection of Arabic literature that reflects Sharjah’s cultural heritage and artistic traditions.
The Sharjah Book Fair serves as a vital attraction for literature enthusiasts and is a key destination for travelers with an interest in the arts. Drawing more than 2 million visitors and hosting 1,420 national and international publishing houses, it stands out as an essential event in Sharjah.
