The Madajazzcar festival in Madagascar
Madajazzcar is an annual jazz festival with country rhythms and original styles held in the capital. It is a real cultural institution as it is an event that brings together all jazz music lovers and professionals from all over the country and the world.
What time of year? It is usually held in October of the year. What started as a jazz concert in Antananarivo became an international festival, with jazz musicians from all over the world taking part.
There is something for every taste and every type. About forty artists or groups from all over the world come together to introduce the melodies and talents of artists to the audiences of this city of thousands of people through sports venues: from the open-air Antsahamanitra Stadium to the Antaninarenina Gardens or the Andohalo Stadium.
