UN Tourism has released a new edition of its investment guide, Tourism Doing Business: Investing in Indonesia, providing global investors with a clear, data-driven overview of the extensive opportunities in Indonesia’s rapidly growing tourism sector.

Highlighting iconic destinations like Lombok, Borobudur, and Raja Ampat, the guide showcases Indonesia’s appeal through its 10 Super Priority Destinations, 3 Regenerative Tourism Zones, and 11 Special Tourism Economic Zones. It also outlines government initiatives like the Clean Tourism Movement and the Tourism Village Programme, aimed at sustainable and inclusive development.

With over USD 16.1 billion invested in tourism since 2018, and strong public-private partnerships, Indonesia is positioned as a top destination not only for travelers—but also for global investors. This new roadmap is an essential tool for anyone looking to tap into Indonesia‘s vibrant tourism landscape.
