Far beyond the outskirts of the big city, near a tiny town that nearly everyone forgot, lay a lonely creek bed of no special significance. Once upon a time it was called Washpool Gully.
A kid and their mum have pulled up in a new town – a tiny town, one which nearly everyone has forgotten. They don’t really want to be there and they keep fighting.
But there is something deep in the scrub, in a dry old creek bed once called Washpool Gully, which is starting to stir.
Something which has been woken by the rumbling engines and digging machines which have also moved in. But remember – there’s no such thing as monsters.
