Djibouti promotes artists’ rights with the launch of UNESCO-Aschberg
The programme aims is to develop cultural and creative industries, improve the socio-economic conditions of artists, boost economy and create employment.
On 3-4 June 2024, Djibouti’s Ministry of Youth and Culture, in cooperation with UNESCO, launched the first phase of the UNESCO-Aschberg programme. This initiative seeks to enhance the socio-economic conditions of artists and cultural professionals, fostering the development of cultural and creative industries, thereby contributing to local economic growth and job creation.
