Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands: a cruise season marked by dynamism
The 2024/2025 cruise season looks promising for the Vanilla Islands of the Indian Ocean.
Running from November 2024 to May 2025, this new season welcomes more than 35 stopovers, reflecting a return to sustained tourist activity in the region.
When we talk about the Vanilla Islands, we are talking about a marketing concept aimed at joint tourism development between the institutional stakeholders of the Mascarene trapeze.
This action brings together Mauritius, Reunion, Madagascar, Mayotte, the Comoros and the Seychelles.
Local authorities, in collaboration with the Association of Ports of the Indian Ocean Islands, support the reception of ships using cleaner technologies. At the same time, efforts are being made to promote local products and raise awareness among passengers about the environmental impact of their trips.
