international carnival of Victoria in the Seychelles

Unique in its kind, the month of March announces a new edition of the Victoria International Carnival in Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles. This event will allow different countries of the world to showcase their culture and achievements by parading on board colorful carnival floats in the joyful and lively streets of Victoria.

Enough to create excitement in the smallest capital in the world which will open its doors wide to welcome a colorful cultural melting pot! The carnival of carnivals, with the evocative slogan: “Bringing the world to Seychelles”, offers a program rich in entertainment: live concerts, a wide variety of stands offering typical dishes from many countries. Brightly colored light garlands will complete the picturesque decor that will dress the streets of Victoria during the 3 days of carnival.

On the second day, come and watch a huge parade that will bring together floats from local communities and the many participating countries. An impressive crowd that came to see all these colorful floats parade should further add to the success of a show designed to surpass that of the first edition… For the third and final day, the carnival will end in an explosion of colors, shows and music that should last all day and continue into the night… These 3 days of entertainment will be an opportunity to spend an unforgettable time with family or friends and to fully enjoy the atmosphere of the carnival…
