Kenya signs two agreements for the development of the agricultural sector
The first agreement with a total cost of $197.8 million was concluded with the Swedish company Cool Go Green, specializing in the supply of cold solutions. According to Peter Korner, founder of the company, this partnership involves the installation of 40,000 refrigerated storage units powered by solar energy over the next 5 years. The initiative aims in particular to strengthen the food conservation system and reduce post-harvest losses.
