Madagascar’s gastronomy will be in the spotlight during the Whale Festival in July 2024
The whale festival, one of the tourist attractions of Sainte-Marie Island, will highlight Malagasy gastronomy this year. Scheduled for July 13 to 21 on this idyllic island off the coast of Madagascar, this event will offer local and international visitors the opportunity to admire up close the captivating spectacle of humpback whales evolving in the turquoise waters of Sainte-Marie.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to discover the expertise of local gastronomy professionals.
It should be noted that this period corresponds to the migration of these marine mammals towards the warm waters of the Indian Ocean to reproduce.
