Oman : Discover Wadi Shab
No trip to Oman is complete without exploring the Oman Valley. Nestled on a river bed in the heart of the mountains, these lush valleys constitute a quintessential landscape of the country and a true natural wonder, carved out by rocky paths, natural pools and streams.
Wadi Shab is a gorge accessible only on foot. When it becomes narrower it is filled with water and it is only possible to continue by swimming, until you reach a cave with a small waterfall.
After a short crossing…or perhaps swimming…or otherwise by boat, you are on the other side of the river arm, ready to begin a one-hour walk between steep paths and pools of water soft natural translucent perfect for swimming.
