Push to improve access to Tasmania’s giant trees to create tourism drawcard
Tasmania has some of the world’s tallest and oldest forests, where trees can stand up to 100 metres tall and grow for thousands of years.
An environmental group believes Tasmania should better harness the potential of its giant trees, the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, by improving tracks, signage and marketing to tourists and visitors.
