Reunion Island : SOUFFLE o.I. Dance Festival
From November 4 to 28, Souffle o.I. #5 sets foot in the sand and invites itself under the ocean spray. A declaration of love for the living, aspiration in the movement of the unknown, the fluidity of the world, the life that surpasses us and carries us, makes us dream, think, be, share. Since 2020, Lalanbik has anchored its festival in the breath of early summer because it is also the season for our friends in the Indian Ocean. The period allows for exchanges. The 5th edition, thanks to a material constraint – work on the Pierrefonds theater – assumes its inspiration and moors on the seafront, in the city center of Saint-Pierre. A simple and sober stage device: a stage under the sky, on the beach and in front of the ocean. Lights placed there like Sunday camping equipment, which comes and goes. Life.
