Sumatran elephants seen in Indonesia to mark World Elephant Day
World Elephant Day is an international annual event that falls on Aug. 12, dedicated to the preservation and protection of the world’s elephants. Two Sumatran elephants are seen in Way Kambas National Park, Indonesia’s Lampung Province, as a commemoration to mark this special day.
