Giant Lingzhi in Borneo rainforest
The Borneo lowland rainforests, an ecoregion within the tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests biome, thrive on the vast island of Borneo in Southeast Asia. This lush ecosystem supports approximately 15,000 plant species, 380 bird species, and several mammal species. Among the remarkable inhabitants of this rainforest is the giant Lingzhi.
Modern studies confirm the pharmacological properties of this type of mushroom: strengthening of immunity and the body’s natural defenses, adjuvant in modern cancer treatments.
