Malaysia: The emerald green Cameron Highlands

 

Explored by the British explorer William Cameron in 1885, the Cameron Highlands became a mountain resort in the 1930s. Many tea plantations were also developed. The region has become an important tourist site.These high plateaus, where tea is grown, are located at an altitude of more than 1,400 meters. The emerald green region offers breathtaking landscapes of tea plantations, as well as numerous activities, which will delight adults and children alike.
