The clouded leopard, a beauty from Borneo
Clouded leopards get their name from the large, irregular, cloud-like spots they have on their light beige to brown coats. Because these patterns help these panthers blend into their plant environment, they have rarely been observed by humans in the wild. As a result, most of the information we have about these creatures is based on their behavior in zoos, although one particularly surprising discovery was made a few years ago.
